On Saturday,April 21st, 2012, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, The Healthy Start Coalition is partnering with the City of North Port Division of Social Services i to present a Community Baby Shower and Pre-School Expo.
This FREE Event will be held at the Morgan Family Community Center, 6207 W.Price Boulevard in North Port. Pregnant women, new moms with infants and pre-school children and their families are invited to attend.
This annual event is held to provide education, information, and gifts to pregnant women, new moms and families with pre-school children in our community. Exhibitors from more than 40 local organizations will be present to provide information and giveaways to attendees.
Dozens of door prizes will be given away throughout the day.
Activities will be available for children, including face-painting, creating bookmarks, baby sign language and a climb and crawl structure. A “Diaper Derby” race will be held for crawling infants and Publix dinosaur, Plato will make an appearance.
