The Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County is hiring
Community Health Workers to teach Sarasota County women how to have safe and healthy pregnancies!
Who can apply?
Anyone interested in helping women have healthier pregnancies! You do not need to be a health expert to apply. Training is paid!
How much time will I spend? How much will I be paid?
- The Community Health Worker Program will begin in April 2014 and end in October 2014.
- In April 2014 (Date To Be Determined): Attend a 4 hour training provided by the Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County ($60 stipend). Refreshments will be served.
- From April to September 2014: Schedule, advertise and teach 4 one-hour community trainings in Sarasota County ($40 stipend per completed training). You can schedule these trainings at times that are convenient for you (Days, Nights or Weekends)!
- Additional funding will be provided to purchase refreshments for your community trainings (one $10 grocery gift card per community training).
