This year we are very honored to host Keynote Speaker: Heidi Godman

Heidi Godman is an award-winning broadcast journalist, health writer, and mompreneur. She spent 22 years at ABC affiliate WWSB-TV, where she was a news anchor and health reporter, and shared the milestones of her family with Suncoast viewers. Now she’s the executive editor of the Harvard Health Letter, the national subscription periodical from Harvard Medical School. Her work for Harvard Health Publications has also been published by the Chicago Tribune, the Baltimore Sun, the Orlando Sentinel, and many other newspapers and magazines.

Heidi is also the host of “Health Check with Heidi Godman,” a daily health talk show on WSRQ 106.9 FM and 1220 AM (, and she is the president of her own media company which provides content to web and print platforms throughout the country. Heidi has navigated the challenges of working full-time while raising three children (now ages 13, 17, and 22) with her wonderful husband Jay. She is quick to share childrearing stories and shortcuts with other parents, and she’s a pushover for babies.

All proceeds benefit The Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County, Inc.
