It is our mission to promote the health and well-being of pregnant women, infants and young children through a combination of prevention and intervention services.

RESTRICTED DONATIONS
The Healthy Start Coalition funds a variety of programs, projects and services, all to ultimately prevent low birth weight, prematurity, and fetal or infant death. Additional funding can augment and improve our ability to meet the increasing needs of pregnant women and infants and the service providers who care for our clients. Areas of current need include:
Transportation costs for our clients to go to and from prenatal appointments.
Incentive gifts for meeting goals for appointment attendance, smoking cessation, breastfeeding, etc.
Operating costs of our Pregnancy Resource Center, which helps pregnant women obtain health education information,
find out about local resources, and learn how to apply for pregnancy care insurance.
Costs for educational programs for health care providers and the community on prevention and care of
pregnancy risk factors.
Contributions to our Endowment Fund, to assure we have a strong future.

Unrestricted donations allow us to improve the quality of Healthy Start service administration and enhance Healthy Start services. You may trust that your donations go directly to support our goals now and in the future.
