Breastfeeding Blog Hop

Breastfeeding Blog Hop

August is National Breastfeeding Month and to show our continued support, the Breastfeeding Advocates of Sarasota County (BASC) are hosting our third annual Breastfeeding Blog Hop!

What is a blog hop? Simply a way to connect blogs writing about a similar topic – in this case a supporting breastfeeding. This allows multiple blogs to share and promote the topic as well as each other, increasing traffic and the reach of the message.

It’s a win-win!

If you have a blog and you are interested in participating, fill out the form here.

Rules (you knew there would be a few, but don’t worry, they are pretty simple):

  1. You must have your blog written and submitted for approval BEFORE July 30th.
  2. It must be a message in support of breastfeeding. It can be a personal account about your challenges, an amusing anecdote about nursing a toddler, an image of what breastfeeding means to you, a listing of your local resources….whatever you would like within the guidelines of this project.
  3. No bullying or attacking any group, person, or organization. Let’s keep it positive!
  4. Be creative! Poems, photography, art, personal anecdote, or informative article; tell YOUR story your way.
